Long Branch just got its first mural! Called Flower Dreams (though some are rumored to call it A Bug's Life), it was created by Class Acts Arts with the support of The Long Branch Business League and many other partners.  Check it out for yourself! It's on the corner of Flower Avenue and Piney Branch Road (a location -- did you know? -- that used to be called by locals 'The Center of the Universe').

About The Long Branch Business League

The Long Branch Business League was organized in 2005 by a group of locally-owned businesses (with a little help from Montgomery County) and was revived in late 2010, full of new ambitions.

Our main goal is to get the word out about Long Branch -- the comfortable commercial area tucked between Takoma Park and downtown Silver Spring. Though centered on Flower Avenue, its commercial center extends along Piney Branch all the way to University Boulevard.

If you are a neighbor, use this site to learn how you can help Long Branch blossom -- or to discover Long Branch's many fine stores, restaurants and services.

If you are a business, get involved! We are already taking steps to make Long Branch an even more desirable and walkable destination. Let's help each other take our businesses, individually and collectively, to the next level.
